Tips when Babysitting School Age Children

1.
Never leave the child alone or out of your site!

2.
Games you play with younger children often won't work with kids this age. Be sure to have something than can amuse older children, like a board game of their choice.

3. Be sure to get the parents permission before allowing the children to watch TV or play video games.

4. Outside activities are great for kids this age. Basketball, Frisbee and soccer are all great choices for outdoor entertainment.

5. Many kids this age will test their boundaries with you.  It's important to establish rules and let them know that even though you're not their parent, you're still in charge.
